What AirIQ builds

One platform, and the hardware that feeds it.

AirIQ develops mobile and web applications and cloud services that stand alone or integrate with software a fleet already runs.

  • Mixed-fleet capable, so one account covers vehicles, trailers and tools
  • Reporting, maintenance, compliance, safety and analytics in one place
  • A video telematics camera, and a battery solution for assets with no power

The AirIQ story

Twenty-nine years, on the public record.

A public company files its results whether the year went well or not. These are AirIQ's.

1997

Founding & Wireless Pioneers

AirIQ is founded, pioneering early cellular-to-web vehicle tracking long before telematics becomes an industry standard.

2004

Early Commercial Scale

The company scales past its early base, adding more than 80,000 subscribers and its US business, serving commercial truck and car rental fleets.

2017

From Hardware Sales to Ongoing Service

AirIQ moves from selling a device to running the service behind it: software, support and updates that carry on after the sale rather than ending at it. It has grown every year since.

2019

Heavy Equipment & Compliance Integration

The platform adds AEMP support for mixed heavy-equipment fleets: integration with the equipment industry's own data standard, so mixed fleets report in one language. ELD compliance for commercial carriers follows.

2024

Distribution & Ecosystem Integration

AirIQ expands its North American commercial reach by establishing major tier-one distribution and ecosystem partnerships.

Today

The Next Era

Nearly three decades on one problem, web and mobile tools for vehicles, trailers and equipment, and customers across North America. The terms have not changed: month-to-month.

Investor relations

In AirIQ's own words

What the company says it stands for.

These four claims are AirIQ's, published on its own site. The rest of this website is an argument that they hold up.

Unparalleled customer support

AirIQ's own first claim about itself: responsiveness and proactivity are what set it apart.

Personalized assistance, no shortcuts

Client Care is a phone number that a person answers, not a queue and a ticket number.

In asset tracking since 1997

Nearly thirty years on one problem. AirIQ did not pivot into fleet from somewhere else.

No contracts

Real-time tracking on month-to-month terms. If the service stops earning its place, you stop paying for it.

Who runs it

A company small enough that you reach a person.

Michael Robb is President and Chief Executive Officer. AirIQ operates across Canada and the United States.

Client Care answers at 1-888-606-6444. Several of the people on that line have been with AirIQ for more than twenty years, which is the part of this business that does not show up in a spec sheet.
